What do you call Google? A business, an idea, a community, and/or something you "do".
Google makes the top ten things that has changed the world we live in today and where one looks to see where we are going. Talk about dream jobs with innovative energy and amazing designs - it is by far up there as my one of my Dream jobs.
My life this week has been a Google one! Here are some ways it has been enriched by the following.
Google Voice - easy to use and available internationally. I got to spend much needed time with my son whose traveling in Canada. We've used Google chat with text and video but now there is "free" voice calls from computer to phone ( or phone to phone if you set it up) in America and Canada for 2011.
was so cool. A great introduction to the Google Doodle contest that's giving $15,000 to a lucky student this year who creates their own Google doodle.
All this for free! I am not saying that the virtual world is better spending time with loved ones or seeing the Real art but it certainly fills the void and makes experiences available that we would otherwise may never have.
So thank you, Google, and keep up the great work! more to come, I'm sure.
